What allowed you to find your GRIT?
I believe we are born with Grit. Throughout life we are broken down and molded by our culture to be less gritty, more palatable. I returned to my Grit out of necessity. As an adult with a career, a husband and children, I lost myself. I felt disconnected from the very core of who I was. I dug deep, tapped into my inner Grit and did the work restoring myself from the ground up.
What are you grateful for?
I am grateful for my boys, they keep me present and grounded. They are my constant reminder that mental and physical health are worth investing in every single day.
